This work was on display in the exhibition 'Fire at the Opera House' at 77Art in Rutland, Vermont. August - November 2021

Image Description: A gold and green tapestry is hanging from the ceiling in an exhibition space. Its green warp hangs off of a horizontal gold rod and further down are strands of shiny gold tinsel woven in checker patterns and split into four rows connected by knitted brown-gold material and other knots of tinsel and ribbon and beads with more green warp dangling at the bottom. The two bottom corners connect in the back like a circle so from the front it appears like the textile is in a round V shape. In the background there is a wood floor and a wooden wall sculpture by Gabe Strader Brown, white walls with woven paper cyanotypes by John Richey, a paper woven dress and image of a lawn chair with tiny strawberry pop beads hanging down in colorful pinks, blues, aquas and yellows by Kalyn Barnowski and red cardboard collage by Ryan Sarah Murphy.
