A blanket sculpture hangs from the ceiling in a white wall gallery.
Born in Flames (Burning House)
Used blanket, spandex, wool roving, overshot woven wool textile, plain woven wool textile, yarn, 30 years of sleep with many

An old used flower pattern blanket hangs from the ceiling and connects to the wall on its lower two corners. Yellow gold hand-spun yarn extends from the ceiling to hold the top two corners of the blanket in the air. The lower two corners of the blanket are pinned to the wall behind it. This allows the blanket to have a curved, drooping shape while suspended. The front side of the blanket has woven circles and clusters of long fuzzy strands of yellow yarn cascade from the center of the three largest flowers onto the ground with a knot in the cascades half way down.
